Heat from above, no box on the wall. • Ducted: one system for the whole home, through ceiling vents. • Floor: sits low on the wall. Heat at floor level first. Handy in older rooms and places a high wall will not work. How we work • We come to the house. Catalogue room charts are a starting point, not a Marlborough winter design. Rated kW is measured at 7°C outdoor. That is not a Wairau frost. • Inland and frosty: we size properly, or specify HyperCore where it exists (LN high wall and larger KW floor units only). • Sounds, Picton, coastal Blenheim: salt air is a separate conversation. Factory coil coating slows corrosion. It is not a corrosion warranty. • After install, we look after it. Same number for service. Warranty, in plain English Mitsubishi Electric splits sold in New Zealand by Black Diamond Technologies (BDT) carry a 5-year parts and labour equipment warranty, when installed by an authorised dealer. That covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover design, heat-load calculations, ducting, pipework, or coastal corrosion unless extra protection was specified and applied the BDT way.
