Samsung ducted heat pumps
Ducted is the whole-house option. Indoor unit in the ceiling, air through ducts, one outdoor unit. Heat Geek installs Samsung ducted in Marlborough and Kaikoura.
The Samsung ducted range is Duct S2: inverter reverse-cycle in 5.2, 7.1, 10.0, 12.0 and 14.0 kW. Twin BLDC rotary compressor. R32 refrigerant. Heating operation down to −20°C. Three-way service access, which matters when we come back to service it. Optional drain pump.
SmartThings is not built in. It needs a separate Wi-Fi kit.
