Mitsubishi Electric high wall heat pumps

- Mitsubishi Electric makes several high wall families: GS, AP, EF and LN. You do not need a spec sheet. We will pick the family that fits the room, the frost, and how quiet you need it. What matters in this climate • Quiet at night. The AP25 is specified at 18 dBA on lowest fan, in heating. That figure is that model, at that setting. It is not a claim for every Mitsubishi high wall in the range. • South Island winter, not Auckland. Ordinary heat pumps put out less heat below 7°C. We size for Marlborough. Catalogue kW is rated at 7°C outdoor. We will not pretend that number is your July output. • HyperCore for hard frost. Optional on the LN series with the HZ outdoor. Full rated heating at −15°C. Heating operation to −25°C. Not every LN is HyperCore. Not on GS, AP or EF. • Wi-Fi when you want it. Built in on AP Smart, EF and LN. Optional adapter on GS and AP Classic. Which family, in plain English • GS: the everyday unit. Living rooms and bedrooms without paying for extras. • AP: the quiet pick. AP25 is the 18 dBA model. Good in bedrooms. A smaller AP Mini exists for tight spots, including above a doorway. • EF: slimmer, designer colours (white, silver, black). When the look of the wall matters. View a real unit before you pick a colour. • LN: the flagship. Specify HyperCore (HZ outdoor) if frost is the problem. Plasma Quad Plus filtration is on LN only. We are not publishing a kW table. The right size comes from a site visit, not a brochure. Warranty and the coast 5-year parts and labour on the equipment, from BDT, when the unit is sold by BDT in New Zealand and installed by an authorised dealer. Blue Fin coating on the outdoor coil (stated on these high wall families) slows salt and sulphur corrosion. It is not a corrosion warranty.
